To generate astrological analyses and provide this service, we collect the following information. We use your personal information solely for the purposes described below and never sell it to third parties.

• Account information: your email address (used for login verification and essential notices). We do not use passwords — sign-in is completed via a one-time email code.
• Chart data: date and time of birth, place name and geographic coordinates (longitude/latitude), gender, and any name or note you provide.
• Usage records: questions you submit, generated analyses, star ratings and written feedback.
• Technical information: access time, IP address, browser type, device and language preferences — used for security, troubleshooting, and service improvement.

2. Special Note on Birth Information

Your date, time, and place of birth together form your destiny chart — the core input of this service. We understand the sensitivity of this information and commit to the following:

It is used solely to generate your analyses and to restore your saved profiles within your account. We do not use it for identity verification, credit assessment, advertising targeting, or any automated decision-making.

You may delete an individual profile or your entire account at any time; upon deletion, the associated chart data is removed from our production database.

3. Third-Party Services

This service relies on the following third parties for specific functions. They process data under their own privacy policies, and we share only the minimum information required to deliver the service.

• AI inference providers (DeepSeek, Moonshot AI): receive your chart data and submitted questions to generate analysis text. We do not send them your email address.
• Email delivery service: receives your email address solely to send login codes.
• Map and geocoding services (Amap, OpenStreetMap Photon): receive the place-name keywords you type, for suggestions and coordinate resolution.
• Payment processor (if you purchase credits): handled by a third-party provider. We never store your card number or complete payment details.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on our servers located in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. We protect it through encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege principles, and retain logs of sensitive operations.

We commit to never selling or renting your personal data to any third party.

5. Your Rights

You have the following rights over your data and may exercise them at any time:

• Access and export: view all your profiles, report history, and credit transactions, and request a copy.
• Correction: amend birth details, name, and other fields in your profiles.
• Deletion: delete an individual profile, or your entire account with all associated data.
• Withdraw consent: discontinuing use of the service is treated as withdrawal of your consent to processing.
• To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@posternfate.com — we will respond within a reasonable period.

6. Consent to Use for Service Improvement (Optional)

To continuously improve reading quality, we would like to use your anonymized report content as training material — for example, helping the system learn which styles of interpretation receive higher ratings.

This use is **entirely optional and off by default**. We only save the text of a report if you actively check the consent box when rating it. Otherwise we record only the star rating and store no report text at all.

• Withdraw anytime: you can turn this off in account settings, and we will immediately delete all report content saved for you.
• Anonymized: material used for improvement is not linked to your email, name, or other identifying information.
• Never shared: material is used solely to improve this service and is never sold or provided to third parties.
• Withdrawing consent does not affect your access to any feature of the service.

7. Cookies and Local Storage

We use essential techniques to maintain your login session and language preference, such as locally stored session credentials and interface settings. These are necessary for the service to function.

We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Children's Privacy

This service is intended for adults and not for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

9. Cross-Border Data Transfers

Because our AI inference providers may process data in various regions, your chart data may be processed outside your country or region. We require these providers to assume appropriate confidentiality and security obligations under our agreements.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notice or email. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
